Overview
Join District 9 Councilwoman Misty Spears on July 1st for an Independence Day celebration! Enjoy lawn games, hot dogs & hamburgers grilled by our local first responders.
Families and friends are invited to a free celebration in honor of our 250th Independence Day at McAllister Park. Free food, lawn games and activities for kids of all ages.
First responder cohosts:
The San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association will be grilling hot dogs & hamburgers for us.
The San Antonio Fire Department will bring their fire trucks for pictures.
The San Antonio Police Officers Association will be bringing inflatable lawn games for kids of all ages.
The San Antonio Police Department will bring their Police, Paletas & Prayer truck.
The 100 Club of San Antonio will bring a DUNK BOOTH for your chance to dunk a first responder.

The YMCA will bring portable soccer goals and soccer balls for interactive play.
The San Antonio Area Kite Group will be flying their beautiful kites.
iRun Texas, Alamo CityTrail Runners, and San Antonio Road Runners will meet for their weekly run from Pavilion 5.
South Texas Off Road Mountain biking will bring their bikes.
